The Tie Bar – 2016-current. Sales Associate/Merchandiser.
I designed aesthetic displays and dressed mannequins for social media posts. I was even consulted throughout the redesign of the Chicago flagship store, which contributed to finishing last year at 50% above our goal. Using sales presentation, I continued to promote sales, new products, and build brand awareness.

I mastered editing skills in various styles, including APA, MLA and Chicago Style. I handled author engagement and helped in event organization, while editing several books by Chicago authors, including Ben Tanzer’s New York Stories, Matt Rowan’s Big Venerable, and Joseph Peterson’s Twilight of the Idiots.
Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises – 2012-2016. Assistant Manager/Technical Writer.
Learning to write in clear, concise language for employee manuals gave efficacy to my craft. Leading a staff between six and 12 employees, I learned to maximize cost and time by organizing events at craft food shows and expos, and I exceeded sales projections by streamlining operations.
Criminal Class Press – 2010-2012. Publicist.
